About the Client
Marley Spoon is a meal kit delivery service that operates in 7 markets in Europe, Australia, and the U.S. Through an easy-to-use app, Marley Spoon delivers high-quality pre-portioned ingredients to the doorstep to help busy people cook delicious, home-made meals.
Challenge
Marley Spoon wanted to test new features more easily and faster. To achieve this, they needed an additional team to rebuild their web funnel and portal, as conducting A/B tests and shipping code on web is a lot easier than doing so on mobile. As Marley Spoon did not have the internal resources for the project and also only needed support for this one specific initiative, they partnered with MVP Match to build them a managed team.
Our approach
After discussing the project with MVP Match, Marley Spoon decided to hire an independent managed team to scope and deliver the project. Match assembled a team of senior talents in 2 weeks. A Match representative acted as project lead, doing weekly check-ins with both the managed team and the client’s Head of Engineering to ensure the team worked smoothly, and to resolve blockers and challenges along the way.
